We are working in 12 Arab countries with 9 national networks (with an extended membership of 250 CSOs from different backgrounds) and 23 NGO members.
The Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND), along with the South Centre and Third World Network,organizes an annual Study Week On Trade And Investment policies In The Global South. This event this year will take place in fall 2016, in Geneva (Switzerland). The previous editions were exceptional opportunities to develop knowledge and expertise on the current trends of the global economy and its impacts in the South.
ANND is pleased to announce the opening of the application process to the Fifth Study Week on Trade and Investment Policies in South Countries. The Study Week is organized in collaboration with the South Center and will take place during the first week of December 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting aims to enhance civil society advocacy on economic policies in the region by building capacities and raising awareness on the elected priority-issues and working towards establishing a working group of civil society activists from various Arab countries cooperating with the Network on studying the different layers of developmental process in order to have a wider scope of the development solutions and priorities for the Arab societies, according to the expertise coming from different contexts.
