Brief : Fathia participated in civil work since her youth, as she got involved early in the trade union struggle during her university studies after the authority attacked the student union and installed its aides in it. She's also an activist for women's rights in Tunisia, and she is part of the Tunisian Association of Democratic Women (ATFD). She got involved in political work, and she was among the founders of SAT, an opposition political party that was banned by the authorities in Tunisia, and she was imprisoned because of her affiliation.
