This document aims to contribute to the open consultation process on the Green Paperdiscussing the EU development policy. It touches upon several themes bearing in mindthe questions listed in the EU Green Paper. It highlights gaps andrecommends furtheraction to be taken; focusing on lessons learned from the EU relations with the Arabcountries, especially the eight Arab countries involved in the Euro-MediterraneanPartnership.
