Research papers by ANND Study Week Alumni 2018

2018 Study Week on Macroeconomic, trade and investment policies was organized by the Arab NGO Network for Development in collaboration with the South Center from 5 to 8 November 2018 in Geneva. During the study week, researchers  participated in interactive sessions and enriching discussions and debated on various themes including free trade, investment, climate change, debt, tax and global governance, among others. Whereas the discussions held in Geneva contributed to the understanding of alternative development paradigms; they have also provided further research questions and analysis for participants. Below listed papers are written by the participants of the 2018 Study Week from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco focusing on key issues elaborated during the study week and with their own-analysis from respective countries, including on food security, energy investments, role of international financial institutions, local development…etc.
