ANND is hosting the Civic Space Regional Meeting 2023 on Thursday titled "Civic Space and the Status of Public Freedoms in the Arab Region" on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Hamra, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The meeting will address the impact of international and regional transitions and changes on civic space, the status of civic space in Arab countries at the national level, and the enabling environment for civil society and human rights in the region. It will also include recommendations and conclusions from the reports formulated by the Civic Space Monitor program for the year 2023.
